Touchstone Tarot, a new deck by Kat Black, author of the popular and critically acclaimed Golden Tarot, is selling fast. The artwork used in the deck is digitally collaged composites from the artwork of the European Old Masters from the Renaissance and Baroque eras, with expressive and surprisingly modern looking faces to communicate the meanings of each card.
The name of the deck Touchstone Tarot - was chosen for it's metaphorical meanings. Something small, that can be held in the hand... a tool used to assess if something is true... sounds just like the Tarot!
It's creation was funded by a private benefactor, a Patron of the Arts who wishes to remain anonymous. This person's generosity meant that the deck can be created just as I intended, without commercial pressure to make it yet another RWS clone. This is a limited edition of 500 decks and is 3" x 4". This edition includes:
- 80 cards including a signed & numbered title card.
- A Tarot bag created by the artist and her Mum. (See samples below)
- Touch Stone Tarot engraved pen
- Divination Blend Incense Cones
- Secret Gift from the Artist

Leisa and Kat,
I received my Touchstone Tarot today and wanted to thank both of you for bringing everyone such a special Tarot and the unexpected personal and hand created items. I was really blown away when I opened the package and found everything so unique and special. I can't articulate my feelings to illuminate how I felt. The 'From The Author' card,
Business Card, Deck Registration and the SURPRISE GIFT, which was very very special to me to receive a talisman that I need and will use. And OH!!!!!! The handmade Tarot Bag was a piece of art! When I hold it in my hands with the deck inside, it feels alive.
From the deepest part of my heart I am very grateful and honored to have all this 'Art' in my possession to use for my personal growth. Thank you so much and many blessings!
