Working in a group with spreads like this is a very good way to get to know the cards. It allows you to explore not only your own insight, but the insight of others. Storying is always an interesting thing to do - and it can be a challenge with one card.

This is work that can be done on an individual basis, or as a group, as was done in this Pod Cast.

The spread sheets that Leisa provided allow for a great deal of input: the first page is formated to note the date the reading was done, and the three cards that were drawn, with enough slots so that the sheet can be examined for patterns of color, number, Major vrs Minor arcana, repeat cards etc.

The second page is a series of meanings that can be used in a three card spread, while the third page lists date, deck used, position, cards, explore the positional meanings, and attribution notes.

The final page lists a series of questions about the reading that will give the Seeker a more in-depth view of the reading, and insight into themselves.

All in all, quite a well done Pod Cast. :)

I am learning SO MUCH through Tarot Connections. I especially llike the list included in the handouts for the 3 card spread. I can’t wait to listen to the next podcast. Thank you, Leisa.

What immediately struck me is that you cited your sources in your class, which is wonderful to hear. Your practical approach to Tarot is certainly to be admired, so often in this line of work I come up against absurd stories and superstitions, and I often find myself impatient when I encounter this. I’ve noticed you’re very tolerant when such subjects arise among those you interview, and I really respect that. You’re doing a wonderful thing here.

Ah, and as I listen further, a SOAP reference, I love it.

    Great podcast.
