WOW....Thank you Leisa & Dena!

I can't begin to tell you how spot on this reading is! I'm very impressed and amazed by how clearly my life circumstances were portrayed in the cards/charts and how all of the big issues were so lucidly addressed by you two.

You gals make such a great duo! It would have definitely been fun to be present during the reading.

I'm not sure where to begin in responding, as I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment by the vast amount of enlightening information. Am going to have to relisten a few times. But yeah, the Taurean/2nd House stuff is definitely a really big thing for me right now. I have recently decided to go back to school in order to pursue a career in Counseling (the psychotherapy that Leisa mentioned...I also have a degree in psychology) and my wife and I have decided to move back to her native Australia. Truly a time of making responsible, Saturnian decisions, settling down, purusing a careet path, etc. I am pretty stoked to see these steps shown in the cards as we have been putting a lot of focus on this area of our lives, as my wife is also in her Saturn return. So all of this has been coming to a head. And yes Dena, meaningful work is very important for me, as is the need to be of service (mentioned in the 10th house-King of Swords.

I've studied a bit of astrology (in learning to interpret my own chart) but never considered much the Saturn-Moon conjuction. What Dena mentioned makes a great deal of sense and has provided me some greater insight into an element of my make-up that I hadn't previously given much attention. Thanks for that!

And all of the Fire Energy + lack of water I find as quite a positive...last year must have been a water year. It feels good to be breaking free (the Sag) of the emotions and making progress towards life goals in a disciplined manner.

What else...hmm...so much was addressed! I think it was intuited that the Tower's placement in the 11th House didn't necessarily imply distastrous changes. I had a good feeling to this card as well and also coincidentally consider it my favorite of the Major Arcana. I see it as Superfast divine assistance in catapulting us along our life paths. Perhaps quite painful, but definitely explosive.

I will certainly have to watch the 8th House issues that were mentioned. An interesting side note is that when I first looked at the print outs before listening to the podcast, the Strength card stood out and I had a not-so pleasant feeling about it, but quickly rationalized it away by "Oh, but the Strength is such a great card...yadayada!"

I could go on and on about the vast number of connections this reading made for me, but suffice to say it was very helpful.

Thanks again. I really appreciate it and had a lot of fun listening!

I’ve been reading tarot for more a decade, though I must admit, while I'm familiar with basic astrology, I've been reluctant in applying the symbolism to tarot as often it seems forced. However, this is now the second time this podcast has forced me to rethink this prejudice by demonstrating just how dynamic the interaction between the two systems can be.

Leisa, you and Dena DeCastro make an excellent team, and I look forward to her return.

Thank-you for yet another excellent podcast!

Leisa:

Loads of cool stuff going on in this Pod Cast! First things first - I love handouts, and will be printing out as soon as I send this post! I appreciate the fact that you have created a center diagram that can actually be purchased at Cafe Press - I am not an astrologer, but I sometimes use this astrology spread, so thsi will be very helpful. Also, I just this am agreed to swap readings next year with a friend who uses both Tarot and astrology, and her spread of preference is - ta da! - the astrological spread.

I really think that it is great that you placed your own deck outside of the deck being used for the reading. Comparative reading is a great way to learn, especially considering the esoteric background and presetnation of your deck.

I thoroughly enjoyed the interpretation that you and Dena did - I liked that you compared the elemental qualities of the house to those of the card that was drawn for it. As for those Cappies Moon's - my Sun and Moon are both in Capricorn, which pretty much defines me!

Ginny's take on Justice and Bill's take on the Tarot certainly give us something to think about.

Blessings,
Bonnie
