Episode 3: Fortune Telling, Psychic Readings and Tarot with Johanna Gargiulo Sherman
Fortune Telling
Fortune-telling: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaFortune-telling is the practice of seemingly predicting the future, usually of an individual, through seemingly mystical or supernatural means and often for commercial gain. It often conflates with the religious practice known as divination.
In Episode 3, I talk with Johanna Gargiulo-Sherman about her experience as a psychic tarot reader. Johnanna shares how information comes to her, what kinds of readings she offers and how her Sacred Rose High Priestess ended up on Pamela Anderson’s chest.

Johanna is a wonderful speaker, an insightful author, and an extremely gifted artist. She is a standout in the worlds of Tarot and Psychic Reading, and she has recently begun giving seminars that share this wisdom with the Tarot (and non-Tarot) world.
This is an outstanding Pod Cast - Johanna shines as the unique individual that she is!

Lisa,
I’m so glad that you have featured Johanna Gargiulo Sherman. I’ve found her to be a lively and abundant source of kowledge about the mysteries of the Tarot and the psychic life in all of us whether we work with Tarot or not. I feel that her gift is t o be human in face of what seems like a super-human ability. She is an example of how a natural psychic gift that lies dorman in so many of us can be brought to the fore through study and focus, not to mention the amazing relationship with the Aniaml Guardian that is our birthright.
Johanna is solely responsible for introducing me to my Animal Guardian and someone on whom I can call for continued understanding of my personal psychic vocabulary. She never stops teaching because she is always sharing. Thank you for the expsure to the Tarot and psychic communities.

Lisa.
Thank you so much for every episode of your podcast, I enjoy them a lot and are a welcome addition to my way from home-job. This particular chapter has lead me to get a copy of Sacred Rose Tarot and the book is in the mail as we speak. Once again thank you very much and congratulations for your great job.

I thought your interview with Johanna was eye-opening and clarifying for me personally as a reader. For awhile now I have felt inferior to “psychic” readers for my strengths lies more in empathic psychological understanding. But after this interview I must say my inferiority complex is eased. Johanna represents, to me, a “classic” psychic…a fortune teller. Though I am impressed with her ability to see specific details of someones future she seemed very old paradigm. I think she means well, but she doesn’t seem to be very developed in the healing arts or personal awareness. She almost seems to be an enabler…like she knows thinks she knows where the wisdom resides, but if she feels her clients don’t want to hear it, than she withholds it and “gives ‘em what they wants” But then it almost began to seem that she doesn’t really understand the wisdom on a personal level. I thought that Lisa’s questions were really great and intended to guide the conversation back to something with depth, but it just couldn’t go there with Johanna’s psychic wolrd view being the topic of discussion. It was a fascinating and strange interview.
