Leisa:

I loved the discussion on Qabalah! I find it to be a fascinating subject, and one that is, as you noted, very easy to get lost in. I look at Qabalah as the third or fourth layer of Tarot, when one is in the learning curve. The you come to realize that while Tarot is layered with many different energies, these same energies can be layered, in any order that they please, to help bring order and meaning to a reading or a ritual.

And Ginny ... yes, different decks definitely do have different personalities. Some are gentler than others, some always want to be serious (Sun/Moon Cappie here - I dearly love the serious decks!), some get really ticked off when you submit the same question too many times (which these decks read as more than one time!), and some allow you to play with symbols until you understand them, and can use them.

Talk to your decks, but don't consign your books to the bookshelf - read them too!

Blessings,
Bonnie

A N A M A R - TRANSFADO LYRICS IN ENGLISH

8. My Fate (O MEU FADO)

There should be > people like us, burning, > opening their heart > to each lesson that life gives > further we are > than clay or mud > than madness or drama > I want another world now. > Moving forward > means to be faithful to a blazing dream > and do not listen to someone > that, for pain or contempt, is mean. > My fate is some other > sings the strength of an endless love > to be happy and having you next to me > it is not a sin. > Which of us > does not dream about being a peaceful world > immeasurable wing > having bread and shelter and daring faith? > Embrace > that enchanted home > where the soul yields > and the love doesn't extinguish. > Day by day > Instead of pain I want joy, > waking up denying > those who perish feeling that love is suffering. > My fate is some other > believes that to will means to may > being happy and living with pleasure > it is not a sin.
