Episode 16: Decisions, Decisions

Tarot is a great decision making tool. Tarot outshines out other methods of divination or readings in this arena. I like to think of it as working more or less like a flight simulator, you can explore an idea or course of action, look at the cards and see if you like where it’s going. I’m sharing my favorite method of decisions spreads. Next there will be a sample reading that is followed by some closing comments including a way to work double blind.

The Tarot Aces Series

Ginny Hunt from 78 Notes to Self presents a four card series on the aces. Be sure to visit her blog for a wealth of illustrations and interesting links.

Aces in Tarot are, they say, gifts from heaven. When you get an Ace in a reading, the inclination is to feel like it’s a few days before Christmas and you just know a gift is coming. What is it?

What a great combination of topics to place in a Pod Cast! Decision making exercises are something that we can all benefit from - for future use on our own, or to incorporate into a reading for clients. Doing a double-blind makes the process that much more significant, especially if we are reading for ourselves.

Ginny’s work on the Aces is certainly thought provoking - another way to look at these awesome cards of initiation. I too recommend that people visit her blog - it is well done, and filled with links and “stray thoughts” of wisdom. :)

      Blessings,
      Bonnie

      What a wonderful teaching tool!
I found the use of a real life reading a greatly helpful and inspirational means of exploring decision making spreads. There is something so very endearing and enduring about this form of learning. Theoretical discussion is all fine and dandy, however, real examples sink in on deeper levels and resonate in a meaningful and lasting way. I mean, who hasn’t mentally and emotionally struggled with ‘what to do’ thoughts regarding career/job at some point in their life? I’m ready to give this technique a go!

As for Ginny…she just rocks! Her take on the Aces and Court Cards, in particular are as good as it gets, in my opinion.

      Thanks for a great podcast,

      Brad

Thanks, Leisa and Ginny, for another wonderful podcast. I used the double blind method the other day and found it very helpful. Lisa xx
