MapQuest Doesn’t Help

Tell a man whose house is on fire to give a moderate alarm; tell the mother to gradually extricate her babe from the fire into which it has fallen; but urge me not to use moderation. - William Lyon Phelps

Interview with Sophia

Sophia is a Professional Tarot Reader from Virginia. Her interest in the spiritual and metaphysical has been a lifelong passion. Coming Out

I just love it when people come out of the tarot closet. Over at Tales From The Reading Room a lecturer in French Lit decided to come clean with a 15 year tarot habit.

Well, if ever there was a reason to get broadband, this is one! Is the 70 minutes download time broadband or dial-up? I am a little ignorant of the technology as well.

    Hi Kate,

the 70 min. is the how long the show lasts. It should download faster than that. You might have cause for concern with dial-up. If it is a problem you can always listen on-line by clicking the little player button.

This was just wonderful! Thank you Leisa and Sophia for such a fun, relaxed, and informative conversation. I am a year into my Tarot career and have been wanting to feel more connected to other readers and the tarot community…I look forward to future podcasts and browsing what has come before!
    Peace and great care,
    Amanda

Yet another wonderful Pod Cast! I found the topic of pseudonyms to be quite interesting. As with Sophia, I read in an Internet venue at one point in time where I was forced to use a pseudonym becasue that was part of their template. I had never done so before, and I have never chosen to do so after. I have always felt very strongly that a pseudonym was something that was hidden behind, and always wanted to be out in the open myself. I do agree, however, that sometimes, perhaps because of the belief system where the reader lives, using a pseudonym is taking the high road.

Working the Sophia blog into a Pod Cast with the actual interview turned out rather well. :) I was also amused at the “coming out” of the Lecturer in French Lit as a reader with over 15 years expereince! ;-)

I look forward to future Pod Casts with Sophia.

    Blessings,
    Bonnie

    Leisa and Sophia,

I am so thrilled that you two have partnered. This was the absolute best! I somehow found your site, Leisa, and will check out Sophia’s site, as well. I have a “3 of cups” group that meets whenever it can, all day until supper, and Tarot is our major topic. The “3 of cups” came up at one time or another for each of us as our card of the day just before getting together. Yes, it is Amazing how the Tarot can do that! I am fully “out of the closet” as my entire living room is filled with Tarot. I look forward to listening to all of your podcasts. Thank you, Leisa!
